There will be more lanes for public transport in Minsk
New lanes for public transport will appear in Minsk in 2022, minsknews.by reports.
The arrangement of additional lanes is planned to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2022. In total, they will appear on seven new locations:
- Bogdanovicha Street (from Yanka Kupala Street to Nekrasova Street);
- Igumensky tract (from Prushinsky Street to Chizhevsky Street);
- Mayakovsky Street;
- Sverdlova Street (from Aranskaya Street to Leningradskaya Street);
- Stoletova Street (including reconstruction) - Akademicheskaya Street (from Stoletova Street to Platonova Street);
- Romanovskaya Sloboda Street (from Melnikaite Street towards Nemiga Street);
- Tashkent Street (from the bridge over the Svisloch) - Kabushkina Street (from Mashinostroiteley Street to Partizansky Avenue).
On these road sections, 53 to 112 trolleybuses and buses pass per hour.
