There will be no electronic voting in the 2024 elections

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus said that electronic voting will not be held during the presidential elections of 2024, Minsk-News reported.

The Chairman explained that special conditions are needed for electronic voting. In addition, there are some perception psychological problems of electronic voting.

According to the Chairman, the platform for electronic voting should be secure. To begin with, it is necessary to create a unified system of population accounting. While there are no such conditions in Belarus, it is impossible to conduct electronic voting.
