There will be no Epiphany frosts in Belarus

There is an opinion that the most severe frosts in Belarus are on the day of Epiphany on January 19. But this yaer on the night of January 19, the air temperature will range from 3°C below zero in the west to12°C in the east. In the daytime, the temperature is expected to range from 4°C below zero to 2°C, BELTA writes.

From 1891 to 2021 years, the weather on Epiphany in Minsk was different, but the average daily temperature on January 19 is 6.6°C below zero. About once in 6-7 years the temperature rises above zero, once in thirty years it drops down to 20°C below zero and less.

The warmest Epiphany day with 8.1°C was observed in 2007, the coldest night 25.8°C below zero was in 1968.
