There will be no paper sales checks in Belarus

The Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus has allowed trade organizations to issue sales checks to customers only in electronic form. The decision was made following a meeting at which the problem with check tapes in Belarus was discussed, Citydog.by writes with a link to the message by Ministry.

Sales check tapes in Belarus have risen in price by 2-2.5 times, so companies were offered to minimize costs in three ways:

  1. Only issue electronic receipts to customers – with the consent of the buyers.
  2. Do not print ads on receipts.
  3. Buy a cheaper check tape.

However, there is no shortage of paper in Belarus. The Ministry of Taxes reported that applications for the purchase of check tapes are fully satisfied and there will be no risks of missing tapes in the near future. So there is no need to search for additional channels for the supply of check tapes to Belarus and the sale of goods without paper checks.
