Three Belarusian universities are included in the QS rating
Three Belarusian universities - BSU, BNTU and BSUIR - were included in the QS World University Rankings 2022, minsknews.by reports.
The Belarusian State University took the 295th place. In comparison with last year's result, the Belarusian university has risen by 22 positions. BNTU moved from group 801-1000 to group 751-800. BSUIR is in group 1001-1200.
The ranking was led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In second place, the University of Oxford, the third place was shared by Stanford and Cambridge Universities.
The rating is based on several criteria: the number of students and teachers, the citation of scientific papers, the number of foreign teachers and students, the results of surveys of academic experts and employers from around the world. 50% of the final score in the rating is based on a survey of experts.
