Three new oil deposits were discovered in Belarus

“Belorusneft” discovered new deposits of black gold in Rechitsky district, in the southern block of the Hartsevsky oil field of the Pripyat trough. According to preliminary estimates, the reserves are 800 thousand tons, reports onliner.by.

In total, there are 61 active oil fields in Belarus, and 843 wells are operated.

"Open deposits — deposits of sargaevsky, semiluksky and voronezh horizons. When testing deposits of the voronezh horizon at a depth of more than 4 thousand meters, an oil inflow of 100 tons per day was obtained, "said Peter Povzhik, Deputy General Director for Geology at Belorusneft.
