Alexey Rusakevich, Director of the Minsk Tourist Information Center, stressed the importance of the city for shaping the country's image, describing the city's infrastructure for every taste: 55 hotels, 17 theaters, 30 museums and more than 80 clubs. Minsk offers various excursions, including walking and bus tours. Sightseeing tours of the city are especially popular. Cycling is also in demand due to well-designed routes.
In addition, Minsk is known for its rich cultural life, more than 300 events are held annually, including New Year's holidays and cultural festivals. An important area is industrial tourism, among which excursions to the city's enterprises, such as Minsk Tractor Works and the Minsk Watch Factory, are especially popular.
