Track and field athlete Maxim Nedosekov won bronze at the Tokyo Olympics
Belarusian athlete Maxim Nedosekov won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in the high jump, minsknews.by reports.
The athlete showed a result of 2 m 37 cm, repeating his own national record.
Gold medals went to two athletes at once - Qatari Mutaz Barshim and Italian Gianmarco Tamberi - they also took 2.37. All three took 2.37, but Maxim needed two more attempts, so he is in third place.
This is the second medal of Belarusian athletes in Tokyo. Recently Ivan Litvinovich won a gold medal in trampoline jumping.
