Traditional events in Belovezhskaya Pushcha: seeing off the Snow Maiden and Maslenitsa

Two traditional events are planned in Belovezhskaya Pushcha: seeing off the Snow Maiden on February 17 and celebrating Maslenitsa on March 16, BelTA writes.

Seeing off the Snow Maiden, symbolizing the end of the winter season, will be held at the estate of Santa Claus and will include interesting excursions, master classes and an interactive quest. The main event of the day is the farewell to the Snow Maiden at 16:20. During the winter season, more than 60 thousand guests visit the estate of the Belarusian Santa Claus every year.

The celebration of Maslenitsa, a traditional Slavic holiday, will be held in the open-air archaeological museum in a new format.
