Traffic police will be on duty near pedestrian crossings in Minsk

From March 16 to March 18, Minsk police officers will be on duty at pedestrian crossings, citydog.by writes with a link to the Telegram channel of the Minsk Traffic Police.

During this period, preventive measures will be carried out to prevent accidents involving pedestrians. For three days, the entire personnel of the Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate will patrol emergency-dangerous sections of roads, where pedestrians are most often hit. Together with the inspectors, other public security police services and servicemen of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also be on duty.

Officers will monitor compliance with traffic regulations. Special attention will be paid to drunk pedestrians. They will also carry out information work: remind citizens about the rules of pedestrian crossings, safe behavior on the road and responsibility for violations.
