Travel Partnership: Belarus and Russia offer Chinese combined routes

Russia and Belarus are developing joint combined tours to attract tourists from China, Sputnik reports.

Sergey Kovalchuk, Head of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, noted that such tours, combining several cities and locations, will increase the attractiveness of Belarusian destinations for Chinese tourists. Alexey Strelchenko, Deputy head of the Committee for tour cooperation with China, added that before the pandemic, combined tours of Europe were popular with Chinese tourists.

Currently, the option of combining Belarusian and Russian travel programs is being considered, and mutual recognition of visas may lead to an increase in the flow of Chinese tourists to Minsk and other cities of the republic.

Despite some difficulties with visas to the Russian Federation and border crossing, representatives of the FSB and the State Border Committee express their readiness to facilitate the process of receiving tourists from China through Minsk National Airport.
