Ukraine and Belarus can submit a joint bid to host the Olympic games

Ukraine and Belarus can submit a joint application to host the Olympic game. Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk said this on February 11 at a meeting of the organizing Committee for the preparation and participation of Ukrainian athletes in the Olympic game in Tokyo, reports ej.by.

The head of the Ukrainian government instructed to study the experience of Belarus in hosting the II European games and the experience of European countries in hosting the Olympic game. 

Goncharuk noted the President's initiative to hold the summer Olympic games in Ukraine and Belarus-Zelensky made it last summer. In September, Lukashenko also came up with the idea of holding the summer Olympic games together. He noted that there are football infrastructure facilities in Ukraine that are not enough in Belarus.
