UNDP will help Belarus in the fight against coronavirus

UN Development Programme will donate 250 thousand dollars to Belarus to fight against coronavirus, reports tut.by. The allocated funds will be used to support the healthcare system, as well as to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus in the social and economic spheres.

UNDP draws attention to the fact that the allocated funds should solve the problem of public awareness of the current situation in the country, symptoms, treatment and preventive measures of the coronavirus.

The funds will be used in order to purchase the necessary medical equipment, personal protective equipment, and disinfectants. As well, the funds will be allocated to the volunteer movements against coronavirus. In addition, UNDP will provide the quality statistics on coronavirus diseases and deaths in the country, as well as public awareness. An important role is given to the measures to reflate the economic sphere in Belarus.
