Upcoming scientific programs in Belarus

Belarusian and Russian scientists intend to develop cooperation in the field of space, microelectronics and software development, BelTA reported.

The head of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus said that Belarusian and Russian scientists have jointly completed more than 50 scientific programs. The Academy of Sciences of Belarus took part in about 30 programs.

Among the scientific programs, the space direction is also developing. The Belarusian space system was created thanks to this program. A Belarusian supercomputer was also developed and produced. The nuclear power industry, the industry of the latest materials, instrumentation, microelectronics, agriculture, pharmacy Gusakov are actively developing.

The scientists of the two countries plan to work together to create a new satellite and develop software for the development of industry. Also on the agenda are programs on microelectronics and genomic technologies.
