Victory Day 2025: What to Expect in Minsk on May 9

This year’s Victory Day celebrations in Minsk will feature an expanded program with new elements, kaktutzhit reports.

Key Highlights:

• Victory Parade: The 2025 parade will be noticeably different from last year’s, featuring not only military hardware but also performances by artists and creative groups.

• Main Locations: Festivities will take place in Upper Town and near the Palace of Sports. A concert at the Palace of Sports kicks off at 12:00, while an immersive show recreating postwar Belarus will unfold in Upper Town.

• Evening Program: A large concert on October Square begins at 21:30.

• Fireworks: The celebratory fireworks display is set for 23:00.

• Parade Rehearsals: Full dress rehearsals are scheduled for May 2 and May 6 at 22:00, starting at the intersection of Pobediteley and Masherov Avenues. Spectators are welcome, and no major roadblocks are expected.
