Voice unlocking of plastic cards system launched in Belarus

Clients of some Belarusian banks can restore access to a bank card that was blocked due to an incorrect PIN with a voice recognition system, Sputnik reported.

Interactive Voice Response works in the system of the Banking Processing Center, whose clients are Belarusbank, Belagroprombank, Paritetbank, Sberbank, BSB Bank.

Authentication takes place automatically by mobile phone number. To unlock the card, you need to make a call on +375 17 2992525 and enter the last four digits of the card. The call must be made from the mobile number that was specified when registering the card.

The Government of Belarus has launched a Telegram chat bot where you can ask a question directly to the Council of Ministers.
