Voting on the Constitution started in Belarus

Early voting in the referendum on the Constitution has started in Belarus. It will be held from 22 to 26 February. Those who will not be able to vote on the day of the referendum on February 27 can vote in advance, BELTA writes.

A total of 5,510 polling stations have been organized in Belarus. One question was put to the referendum: does a citizen accept amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus? The referendum is held by overall, free, equal and secret ballot. Citizens of the Republic of Belarus have the right to participate.

A referendum is succeeded if more than half of the citizens included in the voting lists took part in it.
