Waiting areas on the Belarusian border will be renovated

May we remind you that beginning September 23, every driver must pay a fee for registration in the electronic queue and entry into the waiting area at the border of Belarus. However, a list of those who will not have to enter the waiting area and who will be allowed out of this zone without waiting in line has been published.

The Council of Ministers has also defined a mandatory standard for the waiting area at the border, Minsk-News reported. From September 15, 2024, the waiting areas will be fenced off. There will also be access roads and charging stations for electric vehicles (at least two). There will be laundry facilities at the truck checkpoint.

Fire alarms, fire extinguishing systems, video surveillance, number recognition and electronic queue devices will also be installed on the territory.
