When will low-cost airlines start flying to Belarus?
Work on the conclusion of a contract with the Hungarian low-cost airline WizzAir began a year and a half ago and all the conditions have already been agreed, said Oksana Tereshchenko, head of the Marketing and development of Air Transportation Department of the Foreign Economic Activity Service of the Minsk National Airport.
According to preliminary agreements, they were supposed to start flights from April, but the pandemic changed plans, the timing was shifted, minsknews.by reports.
As soon as the epidemiological situation improves, it is likely that the planes will start flying to Belarus, as WizzAir has a desire to cooperate.
Oksana Tereshchenko clarified that negotiations with the Irish airline Ryanair were not held.
