When you do not have to pay for a taxi ride?

A representative of the Transport Inspectorate in the Minsk region spoke about the rules of passenger transportation and payment for taxis, Minsk-News reported.

According to the rules of passenger transportation, if a taxi is ordered for cash, then there must be a taximeter in the car. A taximeter is not needed only if the car was ordered in a mobile app and with a cashless payment option.

Accordingly, if you called a taxi for cash, and a car arrived without a taximeter, you don't have to pay for such a trip.
