Where is it forbidden to visit forests in Belarus?

Over the past week, 19 forest fires have been knocked out in Belarus, Minsk-News reports. Due to the increased high risks of fires due to weather conditions, bans on visiting forests continue to be appear in different areas.

As of the morning of June 13, restrictive measures are in effect in 79 districts of Belarus. All districts are displayed on the map Ministry of Forestry.

In the Minsk region, visits to forests are restricted in all areas, with the exception of two.  In the Brest region, restrictions apply in 12 districts, in the Grodno region – in 15, in the Mogilev region – in 11. In the Gomel region, a ban on visiting forests has been introduced in 12 districts of the region; restrictions are in effect in other districts.
