WHO is going to approve "Sputnik V"

World Health Organization expects to approve the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" by mid-September, belta.by reports.

The necessary legal procedures are currently underway to ensure that the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus "Sputnik V" is approved.

"We are also analyzing this vaccine for inclusion in the COVAX mechanism portfolio" – said assistant to the Director General of WHO Mariangela Simao.

It is difficult for WHO to name the specific deadlines for the completion of the process.
