Will the WHO experts visit Belarus?
On the 3rd of April, the Ministry of Health discussed the details of the visit of experts of the World Health Organization to Belarus, reports Belarus.by.
In an online conference, the Ministry of Health discussed with the head office of the WHO Regional Office for Europe the technical details of the visit of the WHO experts to Belarus. These specialists were invited to the country by the head of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
The purpose of the visit of the WHO experts is to assess the real situation in the country, the measures taken by the state to stop coronavirus and the level of medical care in hospitals and clinics. The Deputy Minister of Health is also planning to participate in clinical observations organized by the WHO. The purpose of these observations is to establish the effectiveness of medicines used in the treatment of COVID-19.
As soon as possible, the Ministry of Health will make a final decision regarding the visit of the experts to the country.
