Winners of Biathlon Federation Summer Cup in Belarus

Anton Smolsky and Dinara Alimbekova became the winners of the Summer Cup of the Belarusian Biathlon Federation, BELTA writes. Belarusian athletes also won 12 medals at cycling competitions in Moscow.

The winner of the men's tournament is the silver medalist of the Beijing Games Anton Smolsky. The leader of the Belarusian national team Dinara Alimbekova, who had not a single miss, won the women’s race.

The tournament was held at the Dynamo stadium. The tournament was attended by members of the national team of Belarus, as well as representatives of the regions and the city of Minsk. Biathletes competed in cross-country at a distance of 900 m, target shooting at a distance of 10 m was carried out with an air rifle.
