You can top up your travel card in Minsk through ERIP

Minsk has launched a system of remote replenishment of Minsktrans travel cards for ground transport through ERIP, and devices for activating such travel cards are already being installed at bus stops, minsknews.by reports.

"The goal of the project is to provide passengers with the opportunity to pay for travel from any point where there is Internet, from any device, without attracting cash and having to stand in line near kiosks," explains Mikhail Slodinsky, head of the processing center of Minsktrans.

Before paying in the ERIP system, a person needs to register on the website, choose the type of travel document to be replenished, and in the personal account specify the number of the contactless smart card of "Minsktrans", on which he plans to write a travel card. After that, the passenger will receive a specialized code assigned to his contactless card and the selected travel document, and will use this code to make a payment in the ERIP tree.

To write a travel ticket to a contactless card, you must attach it to any device to activate the card and wait for a response message on the terminal screen and an audible signal. If the activation was successful, the device screen lights up green and the name of the replenished tariff appears.

Information about the location of the devices for activating the contactless card is available in the "Device Map" section and will be updated as they appear at the stops.

This project is being implemented by Minsktrans together with Science Solutions.
