After all, there are situations when it is simply vital. Using your phone, you use communication services, that is, the services of mobile operators. At the moment, there are three mobile operators in Belarus - these are MTS, Life, A1.

Mobile operators today can provide a number of services, such as mobile communications, the Internet (with a certain limit or unlimited), data transfer, a mobile assistant, international access, conference calls, messages, waiting or holding a call, caller ID, and call forwarding.

Private sim-cards

SIMiD is a service that allows you to use electronic digital signature using a SIM- card and sign electronic documents having legal force in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The service is provided to the clients of Unitary Enterprise A1 - individuals, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs - residents of the Republic of Belarus, users of SIM cards supporting SIMiD services (except for subscribers of the tariffs of the Telemetry and Data Transfer lines). The service is not provided to subscribers whose numbers are transferred from other networks.

How to get a sim-card?

In order to get a SIM card, you need to go to the A1 mobile phone salon, and the mobile operator also provided Belarusians with the opportunity to connect a virtual digital SIM card online.

To do this, you need to log in to the system,

Find and select the appropriate item in the menu, make sure that the device whose subscriber wants to replace the SIM card with a virtual one has Wi-Fi Internet connection, and click the “Replace SIM card” button.

Then scan the QR code. From now on, eSIM will start working instead of the old SIM card.

A digital virtual eSIM card (“e” from the English embedded - “built-in”, “built-in”) is a small chip built into the device’s motherboard, which is remotely programmed by the telecom operator. The same features are available for an eSIM card as for its plastic counterpart: it can be blocked in case of loss of the phone, as well as reinstalled on a new device. Unlike physical SIM cards, the number of which is limited by the number of slots in the smartphone and does not exceed two, eSIM users can install up to five different eSIMs on one gadget and switch between them as necessary. When buying a new smartphone with eSIM support, now it will be enough just to activate the device itself and scan a special operator’s QR code.

How to get a sim-card?

To conclude an agreement, contact the MTS Communication Salon or the MTS Representative Communication Salon with a passport or other identification document. If you want to connect a number with a certain combination of numbers, get information about available numbers from a MTS representative. Make an advance payment to the account if it is required according to the terms of the tariff plan.

Get the MTS SIM card and install it in the phone (modem, tablet, etc.). Wait until the SIM card is activated - it will take several minutes to contact the MTS Communication Salon, and no more than 24 hours when contacting the MTS Communication Salon. After activating the SIM card, it will automatically register on the network. If automatic registration did not occur, reboot the device and manually select the MTS network.

Life

How to get a sim-card?

To apply for a SIM card, contact the Life Communication Salon or the Life Representative Communication Salon with a passport or other identification document. You can pay for mobile services at most ATMs in your region without a commission.

To pay, you must insert the card into the ATM, enter the PIN code of the card, select the mobile payment section in the ATM menu and follow the prompts.

You can make a payment not only with a plastic card; some ATMs offer the option of paying in cash (cash-in service).

Top-up via Belposhta information kiosk

To replenish your account, use ATMs and Belpochta terminals.

Temporary sim-card lock

Temporarily block the SIM card to reduce costs during the planned long break in using the services of a mobile operator and the desire to keep your number.

To reduce the cost of saving the number during a long break in the use of MTS services, you can install "Voluntary blocking."

Important!

The cost of installing a lock is 1.2520 rubles. (MTS mobile operator), saving the number during the blocking period - at the established tariff on your tariff plan. The unlocking is free.

You can set “Voluntary blocking” in one of the following ways:

Mobile application "My MTS"

Launch the “My MTS” application on your device.

Log in using the number by which you add a voluntary block.

Select the "Number Management" section in the menu, then click on the "Voluntary Blocking" tab.

Click on the “Set Lock” button.

USSD-request (free of charge in the MTS Belarus network and in roaming)

Dial * 111 * 15 # on your device and press “call”.

A warning message will appear on the screen that opens: “Incoming and outgoing communication will be blocked. 1. Next. "

Click “Reply”, enter “1”, click “Submit”. You will receive a USSD response message about the installed lock.

Personal account (there is no charge for mobile Internet in the MTS Belarus network, the included traffic is not consumed)

Go to your personal account.

Enter the number and password in the appropriate fields of the authorization form and click on the "Login" button.

SMS message (free of charge in the MTS Belarus network; according to the roaming tariff for outgoing SMS while in roaming).

Send an SMS to 087022 with any text. You will receive a reply SMS message about the installed lock.

Mobile Assistant (free on the MTS Belarus network; not available in roaming)

Call 087051 from your mobile phone. Follow the instructions of the autoinformer.

MTS Contact Center

Call:

from a mobile device in the MTS Belarus network to the Contact Center number 0890 (free of charge) or from any phone to +375 17 237-98-98 (according to the tariffs for outgoing calls) and follow the instructions of the Contact Center specialist.

Salon of communication of MTS or Salon of the commercial representative of MTS

Only the owner of the room or a person with a power of attorney can apply for the installation of “Voluntary Blocking”. To set the lock, you must present your passport or other identification document.

Important!

Regardless of the lock setting, your contract will be automatically closed in the following cases:

lack of a positive personal account balance with the advance payment method for more than 60 days;

lack of replenishment or expenditure of personal account funds for more than 180 days.
