A university opened in Belarus' National Academy of Sciences

The University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus opened on September 1, BelTA reported. The new academic year starts from this day. We wrote that this year there would be about 1.085 million students in Belarusian public schools.

Now it is possible to get a Master's degree education here, that is, the second stage of higher education. The university will train future young scientists. This year there are about 15 specialties at the university, but it is planned to expand the list.

According to the results of the entrance tests and on the basis of the decision of the admissions committee, 110 people were enrolled in the master's program of the university. Among the applicants this year, the following specialties the most in demand were Economics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Art history, Sociology, Applied mathematics and computer science.

Now classes are held in the building of the Academy of Sciences. The renovation of the university building is coming to an end. It has 4 floors.
