About 1.085 million students will attend public schools in Belarus

In the 2022/2023 academic year, there will be about 1.085 million students in Belarusian public schools. Of these, 115 thousand are first-graders, Minsk-News reported. Starting the new year, psychological self-help will also be taught in schools.

In total, 2,901 public schools will be operating in Belarus this year. Also, 44 new textbooks will be published this year. New disciplines will also be studied in high school.

The school year will last from September 1, 2022 until May 31, 2023.
