Alfa-Bank introduces fees for deposits of foreign currency accounts

Since November 28, Alfa-Bank introduces a fee for depositing dollars or euros to current accounts, Devby.io reported.

The fee is 3% of the amount in the currency received from the accounts of other foreign and Belarusian banks. The fee for deposits into accounts in dollars and euros through the cash desks of Alfa-Bank or any other banks is also amount to 3% of the amount.

The bank explained that many financial institutions introduce fees for depositing currency or for its storage. The reason is the restrictions that have led to an excess of currency in the country.

At the same time, the Belarusian ruble has become more actively used: deposit rates are increasing, lending is also carried out in rubles, most card transactions take place in the national currency.

Priorbank has recently launched SWIFT money transfers from Belarus to Poland.
