All public transport will be adjusted for passengers in wheelchairs

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection said that all public transport in Belarus will hve a low floor. Thanks to this, people with disabilities will be able to enter transport in wheelchairs without assistance, Minsk-News reported.

Currently, about 60% of public transport in the country has all the conditions for people in wheelchairs. The regional authorities also continue to purchase new buses and trolleybuses with low floors.

Last week UNESCO included the art of Belarusian straw weaving in the list of intangible cultural heritage.
