Average salary of Belarusians in August

The nominal accrued average salary in Belarus  amounted to 1,665 Belarusian rubles in August 2022, Minsk-News reported. We also published a detailed forecast on the economy of Belarus.

In July, the average salary was 1,644 Belarusian rubles. Salaries have increased by an average of 21 Belarusian rubles, or about $8.

The highest salaries were received by residents of Minsk (2,215 Belarusian rubles) and the Minsk region (1,711 Belarusian rubles).

The highest average salaries were received by employees of the following areas:

• information and communication — 4,659 Belarusian rubles,
• financial and insurance activities — 2,397 Belarusian rubles,
• professional, scientific and technical activities — 2,049 Belarusian rubles,
• industry — 1,819 Belarusian rubles,
• construction — 1,797 Belarusian rubles,
• transport, postal and courier activities — 1,688 Belarusian rubles,
• wholesale and retail trade, repair of cars and motorcycles — 1,474 Belarusian rubles,
• real estate — 1,344 Belarusian rubles,
• healthcare — 1,332 Belarusian rubles.
