Belarus and Russia start working together on import substitution
Belarus and Russia have fully agreed on the lists of import-substituting projects. The Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko told this to journalists, Minsk-News reported. Let us remind you that Belarus and Russia signed an agreement on the transit of Belarusian goods.
On November 3, the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Russia held talks in Moscow with the participation of government delegations of the two countries. As a result of the meeting, the final amount that will be required for the implementation of projects was determined — $1.5 billion in equivalent. Perhaps the amount will be more.
The lists of projects have also been agreed, it remains to complete the technical work. The implementation of some import substitution projects has already begun. Russian credit resources will be attracted to implement some projects in Belarus.
