Minsk and Moscow signed agreement on transit of Belarusian goods

The Ministers of Transport of Russia and Belarus signed an intergovernmental agreement on the transit of Belarusian goods through the territory of the Russian Federation, Sputnik reported. May we remind you that Belarusian and Russian scientists are also planning to build a joint satellite.

The document provides for the creation of alternative routes for the supply of export products: cargo transportation to third countries will be carried out both through seaports and through land transport infrastructure. The agreement will allow the Belarusian side to maintain the volume of exports and enter new markets.

The Minister of Transport of Russia stressed that the signed agreement on cooperation in the field of transportation of goods, and in particular mineral fertilizers, through the transport corridors of the Russian Federation and Belarus, will be an impetus for the further development of the economies of the two countries.
