The construction of the Belarusian-Russian satellite will begin in 2023
Roscosmos is currently developing a federal project for the creation and operation of a Russian-Belarusian remote sensing spacecraft and a space system based on it. Work on the creation of a Russian-Belarusian satellite will begin in January 2023, Sputnik reported.
"The work is planned to begin as early as January 1, 2023," said the Head of Roscosmos. The project has already been included in the state program of space activities of Russia. This will be a grouping of ultra-wide resolution devices.
Previously, it was expected that a new Russian-Belarusian satellite would be launched in 2025, and another one in 2027. Later, Roscosmos reported that two allied spacecraft would be launched a year later – in 2026 and 2028, respectively.
May we remind you that at the end of October, the Belarusian scientific expedition will go to Antarctica for the 15th time.
