Belarus and Russia to continue climate cooperation

Belarus and Russia plan to strengthen cooperation in the field of adaptation to climate change, Minsk-News reported. We recently wrote that the Eurasian Bank may invest in the development of Belarusian biofuels.

During the meeting of the board of the Union State (Belarus and Russia) Committee on Hydrometeorology and Environmental Pollution Monitoring, the topics of promising scientific developments, as well as the activities of states in the field of hydrometeorological safety were discussed.

It was decided to increase the number of climate observation points in the Belarusian territories. The data collected at these stations will be fed into the joint system.
