Belarus and Russia to develop cooperation in nuclear energy

During the visit of Rosatom representatives in Minsk, the issue of training specialists to work in the field of nuclear energy in Belarus was discussed, BelTA reported. Abkhazia also plans to develop economic relations with Belarus.

The delegation from Russia got acquainted with the capabilities of the Belarusian NPP training center. There is a simulator of the central control panel and a training room for operational personnel with local simulators of various systems.

The Russian side agreed to support and help the Belarusian colleagues to create a system of training nuclear power specialists on the basis of the Belarusian NPP. To do this, a partner audit will be conducted. Based on its results, steps and approaches to further work on the formation of a systematic approach to learning will be determined.
