Belarus and Sri Lanka discuss cooperation in economy and trade

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus held a meeting with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka on January 12, BelTA reported.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated the Ambassador on the opening of the office of the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Belarus. The interlocutors discussed the countries' cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.

Last week, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees said that the organization is ready to expand cooperation with Belarus.
