Belarus and Zimbabwe signed package of documents

The President of Belarus paid an official visit to Zimbabwe for the first time. The leaders of both countries held a meeting at the official residence of the President of Zimbabwe, Sputnik reported.

A number of bilateral documents were signed during the meeting. Among them are agreements on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, on the establishment of a joint permanent commission for cooperation.

Later, the leaders of the countries will attend the solemn ceremony of handing over Belarusian agricultural machinery to Zimbabwean farmers.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has recently said that the organization is ready to expand cooperation with Belarus.
