Belarus' construction services export have reached record levels since 2016

The Minister of Architecture and Construction said that in 2022, the Belarusian export of construction services reached $440 million. This is a record figure for Belarus since 2016, BelTA reported.

At the same time, 2022 was not an easy year for all industries, including construction. Therefore, the planned annual targets were not achieved. Exports of construction services amounted to 88% of last year.

The reason is that the volume of construction and installation work in the country has decreased due to a drop in the level of investment. Currently, work is being carried out on only 81% of the objects.
