Belarus entered TOP 5 list of countries by number of STEM graduates
According to the UN Statistical Institute, Belarus ranked 5th in the world in terms of the share of university graduates in the field of natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics or STEM, the Hi-Tech Park reported.
In Belarus, 34.6% of graduates of higher educational institutions receive scientific or engineering specialties.
Malaysia and Tunisia occupy the first and third place in the ranking. The share of STEM graduates in those countries is 43.5% and almost 40%.
In 2022, the Belarusian State University entered the TOP 10 universities by the number of applications for Eurasian patents.
