Belarus' food exports grew by 23% in a year

Belarus exported $1.8 billion worth of food in January-March. Such figures were announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food, BELTA reports. Recently we wrote that the import of meat products in Uzbekistan from Belarus is 82%.

The volume of exports for the first quarter of 2022 was 23% more than in the same period of 2021.

Of the total amount, the share of exports of meat and meat products amounted to almost $ 320 million, milk and dairy products — $744 million.
