Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves increased in June

As of July 1, Belarus' international reserve assets amounted to $7,506 billion in equivalent. In June, they increased by 96.6 million dollars (by 1.3%), Minsk-News writes. In May, gold and foreign exchange reserves decreased by 4.5%.

Reserves increased due to the purchase of foreign currency at the auction on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, as well as the receipt of foreign currency in the budget.

At the same time, in June, the government fulfilled external and internal obligations in the amount of about $210 million. The revaluation of monetary gold and special drawing rights of the International Monetary Fund had a negative impact on the indicator of international reserve assets.

We remind you that on July 1, Belarus canceled the €22 limit on parcels from foreign online stores.
