Belarus has introduced rules for testing cosmetics without animals

In 2023, seven standards for the determination of toxicological indicators of ingredients in cosmetics without the use of animals began to operate in Belarus, BelTA reported.

Now both traditional and alternative methods can be used to test the effect of cosmetics on the eyes and the human body.

The new standards for the determination of toxicological indicators of ingredients comply with the international standards of the OECD.
