Belarus increased food exports by 25%

The Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus said that for 8 months of this year, the country's exports has amounted to 5,168 billion US dollars. This figure is 25% higher than the results of the same period last year, Sputnik repored.

The Minister of Agriculture also suggested that Belarus' food exports could break records for the first time this year and approach 8 billion US dollars result. According to him, last year the country reached the level of 6.7 billion US dollars in this indicator.

Recently we reported that the grain harvest in Belarus is higher than last year. At the moment, 1.5 million tons more grain has been harvested than last year.
