Belarus is ahead of almost all the EAEU countries in milk production

The states of the Eurasian Economic Union have restored growth in agricultural production. Over the three quarters of this year, production in all countries increased by an average of 5.4%, Sputnik reported.

Growth was observed in all EAEU countries: in Kazakhstan – by 6.9%, Kyrgyzstan – by 6.5%, Russia – by 5.2%, Belarus – by 4.9%, Armenia – by 0.5%. The commission explains this process with a good harvest, mainly of grain and leguminous crops.

Production is also growing in the livestock sector, where Belarus ranks second in milk production. Belarus has received almost 6 million tons in three quarters. In the first place is Russia with 25.3 million tons of milk. Kazakhstan made third with more than 5 million tons.

Let us remind you that the production of grain, rapeseed, and potatoes has also increased in Belarus this year.
