Grain production increased in Belarus

The Deputy Prime Minister said Belarus has increased the production of grain, rapeseed, and potatoes this year, BelTA reported.

For 10 months of this year, 10 million 700 thousand tons of grain were produced. The volume of rapeseed was 927 thousand tons. This is 100 thousand tons more than last year. The production of potatoes, vegetables and sugar beet has also increased.

Such volumes make it possible to provide processing enterprises with raw materials, to lay the necessary amount of food, as well as feed grain for public animal husbandry.

For 9 months, the export of rural products brought 6 billion US dollars. This is 26% more than in the same period last year.
