Since May 2022, exports in light industry have increased

Belarus' light industry has been showing positive dynamics since May, with production and export volumes increasing, BelTA reported. By the end of this year, the export of Belarusian products may break records.

For 9 months of this year, Belarusian light industry enterprises produced goods worth 3 billion Belarusian rubles. The industrial production index for 8 months amounted to 95.2%. According to the plan, the industry will reach an index equal to 100% by the end of the years.

In March-April, there was a drop in production volumes. However, the recession was halted in May. Positive dynamics of work was established in May-September. In the third quarter, volumes increased by 9%, and exports increased by 24%.
