Belarus to export potash fertilizers from Russian ports

Belarus will reorient part of its exports to the ports of the Murmansk region. This issue was discussed at the meeting of the President of Belarus with the Governor of the Murmansk region in Russia, BelTA reported. We recently wrote that Belarus and Uzbekistan would increase the supply of raw materials.

The President of Belarus said that in the current conditions, the strategic topic for Belarus is the reorientation of part of the export cargo, primarily potash fertilizers, to the ports of Murmansk. According to the head of state, cooperation between Belarus and the Murmansk Region in the field of logistics is also supported by the Russian President.

The parties have already reached the necessary agreements, but there are still issues that need to be determined. This applies, among other things, to the cost of rail cargoes.
