Belarus was granted debtor's delay for 1.4 billion dollars of loans
A new Russian-Belarusian intergovernmental agreement on loans was signed in Russia on December 5, according to which Belarus received a debtor's delay for the payment of loans, Minsk-News reported.
Payments on all government loans from March 2022 to April 2023 in the amount of 1.4 billion US dollars have been postponed for 6 to 10 years at a rate of 12% per annum. This means that Belarus has to pay all the sums on loans from 2028 to 2033.
The parties agreed on this postponement in March 2022.
Let us remind you that from January 1, Belarus raises the minimum wage rate by 14.7%.
