Belarus will develop 1.8 million tons of oil in 2023

Oil development in Belarus will be stabilized in 2023, Sputnik reported. Belorusneft plans to develop at least 1.8 million tons of oil.

This is the minimum amount of oil to be produced in 2023. If we produce 1.8 million tons of oil per year, then the reserves of raw materials in Belarus will be enough for approximately 25 years.

In 2022, oil development exceeded 1.8 million tons. This is the maximum annual figure for 20 years.

Belarusian oil producers are also actively working abroad and the most successful project is a subsidiary in Russia. Work is also continuing in Ecuador and Venezuela, where Belorusneft is present as a shareholder.
